It turns on and reads discs no problem, will include a Mario kart 8. The console has some minor scuffs and scratches but nothing that affects gameplay. If you don't have a gamepad certain games like Mario kart 8 and Wii games just require a Wii remote and nunchuck.
Also I didn't wipe the date on it, so whoever had it before me has Mario 3d world already installed on it so....have fun.
